  • ++ New Trap ++

    I don’t know if this has been proposed yet or not, but what do you guys think about the idea of a new trap with the same effect as Betrayal? I think it would be fun to have a defensive version of Betrayal. It would be totally random of course so you never know what might trip the trap. Could be infantry, rifleman, artillery, heavy tanks or whatever. They probably can’t get it to work on aircraft but that would be hilarious to see someone’s bombers or fighters start going after their own army.

    Could call it Friendly Fire, Fog Of War, or even just keep it as Betrayal.

    This is an awesome idea! But first of all they have to give some boost to attacking somehow, as defense is too much overpowered already. With such traps 5-star victories will be history, no one could ever win. First of all we need an urgent and decisive boost to attacking. If and only after such boosts have been applied, the "betrayal trap" is most welcomed and a genius idea indeed

      I worry they will overbuff offence and people will switch to complaining about defence... they are incapable of balancing this game properly. Well, that or people on this forum will complain about anything, even in large numbers (so it’s not just a vocal minority). Hard to tell which one!

      As far as keeping it from getting too overpowered, I think it should be limited to 1 trap and unlike the current Betrayal that can hit multiple targets this one would only effect the unit that sets it off. No one wants to see 2 or 3 of their own heavy tanks turn against them.

      The main idea for it is for entertainment value, not so much as a boost to defense. Also, it would be immune to units that normally bypass traps like saboteurs and mine sweeping tanks since it’s not a mechanical trap and more like actual propaganda fliers or something like that.

      In most cases it’s probably going to get tripped by front line units like infantry or cavalry and since there’s only 1 it could go a few attacks and never get tripped at all.

        Great idea.
        The strategy and unpredictability will be the interesting part of this trap.

          Bad idea. The defense increase is not necessary in any way.

            Uhuru It’s not meant to increase defense. It’s just for fun.

              How about making a Brothel building that times seduction of enemy units? it spams little hearts and takes over units like Betrayal.

                  interesting idea and this trap should be introduced in space age as there is satellite scan to disarm them.
