  • leader MIA

TinSoldier Our alliance leader has been MIA for over a year now, we have 2 co leaders and one of them basically acts as leader but he can’t promote anyone else to co and change alliance settings. Is there a way for nexon to change the leader position over for us?

mkm1g15 thanks for the offer, but I am happy with my alliance, some real great players in The Hashashin. we just need some assistance dethroning the current leader that has been inactive for over a year.

the current co-leader that is leading the alliance wanted to make me a co-leader but the game wont let him do it. which is how this all came about

unfortunatly, our co-leader "leader" doesnt trust nexon and wont contact CS. leaving me to do it, and i am having a lot of resistance from CS

TinSoldier any assistance here would be greatly appreciated

If we create a new alliance and try to move over to the new one, A.) we lose all our glory that we worked hard to acieve B.) we lose our level 10 alliance perk and C.) we risk most of our members not following us to the new alliance

kind of risky, and all i got from CS was they dont interfere with alliance matters

I agree with you that you wouldn't want to move now. I probably would have jumped ship and started over as soon as AXP was introduced, at that point you already had a 3+ month inactive leader. Hopefully you can get a better answer, but players have been complaining of this issue for a while, and there really isn't any recourse in game. The few fixes I have heard of all required manual intervention by Nexon, so asking tinsoldier for help is your best bet.

There are lots of small things that Nexon should do to make alliances better:
A button that would allow a co-leader to take over from a leader after an extended absence. Even if it required a majority of active coleaders to press it before he was demoted.
Better alliance search, so any with no active members for more than 30 days wouldn't be shown in search. Inactive alliances drown out the number of active ones when you search - they are easy to add, but never get removed. This should include a direct link to the other alliance in war.
A chat interface with tabs for friendly challenges and donation requests.
Leader chat - including a way for leaders on opposite sides of a war to talk to each other.
Tracking war base donations - including how many in the lifetime donation history, but also who donated to which base so we can see which new member is not following instructions.

There are many more, but those are the ones that come to mind when discussing headaches related to leaders.

The direct link to another alliance in war should've been in from the start. Especially with the game supporting multiple languages. Why oh why would clicking on the alliance's name just take me to the same screen I can get to by pushing opponent/enemy?

its really sad, this was the first alliance i found and it was home right from the start. the alliance is really growing but were reaching a halt due to not having a leader with the proper title. I really hope TinSoldier can help us

sorry to keep tagging you buddy but we really need some help here

This is the response from CS

how are we supposed to contact someone through social media that hasn't logged into the game in over a year, and no one in the alliance knows him outside the game? that was the lamest respose ive ever heard

im also in a lvl 10 alliance where the leader is missing.
devs speak as if they want to encourage alliances in dominations but they wont make the simplest changes lol

I push my plea with the GM further and get almost the same non commital response

485 days inactive!! C’mon clear out all your old inactive players. They are clogging up the game

I would just start a new alliance. If you’re a good team it shouldn’t be a problem getting back to where you’re at with glory and level. Ya it sucks but so does being in an alliance with no real leader. Make the new one and have someone that comes with you to go back to the old one every so often tell you get all your members too the new alliance

too stubborn to do that, just need to get CS to move their butts, besides with the current chat bug going around we're not leaving and joining any alliances
