Your own spreadsheet shows 81k players over 200 - and I checked dominations.pl, where you got the information, it looks like about 70k of those have been in an active alliance this month. To get good war matches and a wide player base, I would say the game needs 4-5 times that number in cold war alone. I can only think of two ways of doing that - lowering level requirements, or drastically shortening all upgrades up to atomic age so players can get to maxed atomic defenses in a short time. Some combination of the two would be my preference.

I actually think revenue for Nexon would go up dramatically if they did that, with a growing playerbase. The current design of an ever longer path to even be in the higher ages makes for a perpetual shrinking playerbase.

If they don't make changes, what's the point of being a whale by yourself? Or up there with only other whales and cheaters to give you a fight? How many players are going to spend when 2 of the top 10 alliances on the leaderboard are well known cheaters, and the odds of a strong alliance meeting them are high (since there are so few big heavy alliances now)? Even a few cheaters isn't that big of a deal when there is a huge playerbase, they are just noise. But right now there isn't a healthy community size.
Cheating is other issue. I complain for it, but it in not part of this discussion.
Your only logic is the anxiety to move to a Higher Age.
There are several impossibilities in your approach to lower the limits to move old:
    1) To maintain the parsimony of the game, only one abrupt change can be made at a time. Either it is this change or it is the launching of Space Age.
    2) It is unfair for those who had that minimum.
    3) Moving all the limits would cause the game to take months to stabilize, and MM get considerably worse.

1 - As long as you are making changes, go ahead and get them all in at once.
2 - Any change is good for the health of the game or it is not. I think this change would be great for the game. Unfair implies someone is hurt by this, and that isn't the case.
3 - Again. The game will be in flux as soon as space age comes out, we already see CWA can't hit global anymore in preparation. Might as well do everything at once.

I personally should have no trouble with the level requirement. My argument is for the broader base of players.

Nexon doesn't owe any of us anything, as someone recently reminded me. You got what you paid for when you did it, now they do whatever they choose to do to achieve their business objectives. I hope those objectives include a broad and growing player base, and all my suggestions are made with that in mind.

Why do everybody want a unicorn? Because nobody has a unicorn ... it's rare/ unique.
If the minimun is downed, and too many people have a unicorn, in 1 month people want and demand a new unicorn, the Beyond Age I ... and that will never happen.
Either way, this is already defined by Nexon, we only can wait.

There already is a unicorn available... and only a few dozen players have achieved it. It's a maxed out lv 300+ base with 5* maxed war artifacts.

How is lowering the level requirement to advance an age hurting lv 280+ CWA players?
You know what hurts CWA players? Being bored by not enough people playing the game and being at high enough level to compete with them.

I agree with yemen we need a growing, thriving player base for the continued success of the game.
If you don't believe me just ask Blizzard what they did to keep World of Warcraft thriving for over 15 years. ( hint: they increased the player base playing end game content)

yes, Xabar don't get this. either he spent lot of money to advance to lvl 280 and jealous of others who stay low and take his base out or he just don't play much

probably the best sentence I've read in this thread
I'd be very surprised if, after 4 yrs, Nexon isn't aware of keeping the playerbase from shrinking.
Unfortunately for us, after 4yrs, I think Nexon is probably better at keeping this game going with those few big spenders than they would've been at the start-up with everyone spending small amounts.
Despite the bugs or closed-mindedness we sometimes get from them, they're not going to introduce SA with too small a pool or too large a pool. The pool would be adequate to start with, but allow more players to get there soon-ish, with a little work.
          At least, I hope so.

ps: I just saw Tin's post about SA being able to attack 2 ages down. I guess Nexon solved the issue of a poor SA playerbase!

I request to lower the minimul level requirement for Cold War, and make Space Age available in level 240.

No, no, no, Blood is right. Nexon have no idea what they're doing, even after all this time. They had better heed his words or the game is doomed.
Only Blood has the foresight to see what's going to happen and, correct me if I'm wrong, but the answer to this whole CW > SA potential disaster is to offer more crowns for videos?

You people, see what I'm speaking of? Everyone wants the XP required for Age Advancement complying with their desires (strategy). So??? Why not removing those foolish and useless requirements and leave everyone to play as they see fit (facing the consequences that come up with each decision). Moving up an Age is not easy, especially if you're not ready for it. If you think you're ready, then go for it! But be ready to be edged out by stronger players more often and know that there is not going back. Age Advancement is a crucial strategic decision that each player should take without limitations.

As for the easy bases that have been way much too rushed up, please do tell me, who of you wouldn't like to attack such bases???

....The funny part is that most people commenting on this forum (me included) are mostly non-paying players so those discussions are completely biased.
I do actually spend money on this game. That fact doesn't mean suggestions made by me or non-paying players are more or less valid.

What I have seen in past games is a very small player base leads to the game having no support from CS and the company shuts the game down. And that number of "too small" is less than 100,000 players. The game currently only has about 80,000 active high end players. By your account, Karma, Dominations only has 6,000 very active ones supporting the game. This is certainly not good news.

The numbers Blood posted about $450,000 of revenue from Jan 1st this year tends to agree with 6,000 players paying around $50 per month. What if that number of 6,000 players could be increased to 30,000 players? That would be like increasing their revenue by 2.5x. And this whole complaint of cheaters / bad WW matches would go away and more high end players would likely spend even more.

I would agree with Yemen that a healthy game has around 400-500k active players in the end game content. A Boost Event of paying one time fee allowing rapid building upgrades for a set time period up to the end of Global Age would certainly increase this base of active players.

That is a fantastic idea.......that would surely have an impact on the player base. Right now new players have such a massive hill to climb.

Nate, This game is a journey. I can see people losing interest if the journey doesn't lead anywhere but there should be enough interesting things along the way to keep people interested. Anyone who jumps from Medieval to CW in a few weeks misses out on the fun & experience of ]i[growing][/i]. Getting there isn't always the best thing, what you learn along the way has it's own rewards.
But maybe that's just this grumpy old man talking.

There's still plenty of growing that they can do with 20+ levels of fighter planes, 7 levels of heavy tanks, and 1-1/2 years of university upgrades. And I'm not suggesting handing a new player a maxed out CWA base. I'm just saying that we need more Global and AA players that aren't exhausted from trying to play catch up for 3 years. I want new players in the fight within 3-6 months. Someone who is handed a maxed out Global Age base on the cusp of starting Atomic Age has tons of stuff to learn and build still.

Dang, that was too close to my request 😆 246 minimum level requirement for Space Age.
How about lowering Cold War Age minimum level requirement? 😐
