World War II began on September 1st, 1939 with the German invasion of Poland. That initiating point saw many small moments of bravery, including the Polish army's cavalry charge at Krojanty that dispersed German troops bearing down on the village. To commemorate this event, certain cavalry and tank troops are temporarily boosted.

Event lasts from 14:00 UTC 9/1 until 14:00 UTC 9/10.

This event features the following boosts:
    • 25% more Raider health
    • 25% more Cavalry and Light Tank damage
    • 25% more Raider, Cavalry, and Light Tank movement speed

The myth of the Polish Cavalry Charge was born on the first day of World War II. In the evening of September 1st, 1939, near the village of Krojanty, the 18th Pomeranian Uhlan Regiment was ordered to draw their sabres and charge an unsuspecting German infantry battalion. The regiment’s goal was to disperse the German infantry and slow the German advance. Machine gun fire from German armored cars would force the Poles to retreat, but not until the cavalry had successfully scattered the German infantry. The cavalry charge had successfully slowed the German advance long enough for the Polish 1st Rifle battalion and Czersk Operation Group to withdraw safely. After the battle the Germans invited Italian journalists to tour the battlefield and perpetuated the idea that the Poles had charged into the treads of German tanks.
